MCS 213 CPT Coding I

This course is an introduction to Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding. CPT coding is the means by which written medical documentation is converted to a five-digit numeric code. This course focuses on modifier assignments and Evaluation and Management Coding. R, 12 (3 lecture hours) Prerequisite: MCS 125 with a minimum grade of C Corequisite: MCS 219
