CMN 104 Interpersonal Communication

This course is designed to teach basic principles, theories and skills involved in interpersonal communication. Students study the impact of effective perception, verbal messages, nonverbal messages, listening, feedback, self-disclosure and conflict management on their interaction with another person. Emphasis is placed on face-to-face interaction in both personal and professional relationships. W1, 11 (3 lecture hours) Prerequisite: RDG 098 or appropriate placement scores
