ARH 101 Basic Refrigeration
This course focuses on the understanding of refrigeration terminology, the study of the fundamentals of refrigeration cycles and the energy conversion principles of refrigerants. The use of tools, instruments and materials are stressed. The lab deals with hands-on experience, working with copper tubing, iron pipe, various fittings and soldering processes. 12 (2 lecture hours and 3 laboratory hours). Note: In addition to tuition, this course requires an additional variable tuition rate.
